Art and design has been my lifelong passion.

I am a self taught artist, painting mainly in acrylic, occasionally in water based oils. I love to paint farm animals, stags, hare’s, landscapes and seascapes. My style is not to replicate my animal subjects exactly, but in a light and modern way that has a freedom of creative spirit at it’s heart.

I enjoy painting in a modern contemporary way, using a bold layered approach. The joy is just finding my way and seeing what happens. My journey with art is a constant that I hope to pursue well into my retirement. My family I’d like to thank, for their undiminished support and encouragement, love you.

The blending of colours, washes and lines in my paintings are a unique style that I’ve developed through experimental processes.
